Essential Breath and Energy Work 1 "KAPALA BHATI" by Kevin Wikse
Kapala Bhati works directly upon the Pancha Tattwas or Five Elements within our brain.
Earth: The physical gray matter of your brain.
Water: The cerebral spinal fluid.
Fire: The nerve energy passing through the neural pathways.
Air: The oxygen feed into the brain and the pressure holding it within the skull.
Ether: The subtle energies transmitting through the arachnoid and su-arachnoid cavity of your brain (thin elastic fibers called the arachnoid, which connects the dura mater to the pia mater, a thin membrane clinging to the surface of the brain and spinal cord).
1. Cleansing the brain's earth element: Removing or reducing brain tumors, obstructions, and/or clots.
2. Cleansing the brain's water element: Purifying the cerebral spinal fluid, returning it to a clear, liquid state from a milky-colored fluid with occasional traces of blood.
3. Cleansing the brain's fire element: Smoothing out impeded or short-circuited nerve impulses.
4. Cleansing the brain's air element: Clearing congestion or stagnant energy within the skull cavity.
5. Cleansing the brain's ether element: Correcting imbalanced and irrational states of mind.
Procedure:
Sit conventionally. Straight back with your chin tilted slightly down to open up the vertebra in the neck. Mouth closed, teeth lightly touching together with your tongue pressed against the roof of your mouth. Breathe only through your nose. Sharply pull your lower abdomen in and a little upward. This pull will forcefully expel air out of your lungs. When the abdomen is relaxed or released to its natural state, air will naturally and effortlessly be taken in through the nostrils. That constitutes one (1) repetition.
Begin with thirty (30) repetitions. Gradually increase the number of repetitions daily until you can do one hundred twenty (120) without dizziness or other signs of hyperventilation.
Kapala Bhati brings energy up through the spine to the base of the brain/spine connection. The energy circulates up the back of the brain, over the top, cascading down the frontal lobe. Toxic energy, now rendered neutral and inert, is pushed out through the nostrils and dissipates away almost instantaneously.
A sense of illumination within the brain will remain with clean mental energy and stable thinking.
Kapala Bhati is best done early morning and should be performed daily. Begin this practice immediately. More information will come soon.
Report back often for your next assignment.
